The Conundrum of Feminism { Take 1}

“Those who love the truth and know the past
Is never past, that stories steer one's choices,
Will want to look for heroines in the vast
Store of women's lives and hear their voices”

Excerpts from a poet unknown “to the heroines still not well known”….my way of breaking the proverbial ice and lacing a thin veiled empathy towards my sisters, lovers, aunties and mothers…permit my miews ( pun intended…muse and views)  if u may….i have an issue to address today….i tend to wonder what feminism is all about, talking to my mothers from maya angelou to rosa parks, to my lovers from one nighters to perennial paramours and to my aunties…from the socially defined ones to the genetically determined ones….they all resonate two words….EQUALITY and FAIRNESS….this always made me wonder… why is she always at a social disadvantage….the conundrum of feminism led me to think deeply and borrow the minds of others to understand what it’s all about….hopefully in the next 2 takes I can express such miews for public scorn n understanding while understanding who she is….the female….
